Project Snapshot

  • Client: SWISSAID
  • Event: National Workshop on Agroecological Transformation of Food Systems
  • Venue and date: Ramakrishna Mission Narendrapur Campus, 14–15 July 2026
  • Gateway Graphics role: IEC development, information design and production-ready event communication

The Communication Challenge

The workshop brought together detailed information on agroecology, nutritious food, resilient farming and demand generation. The communication materials needed to organise this complexity without losing clarity. They also had to work at different physical scales—from a participant agenda to large thematic panels—while appearing as one coherent event system.

Materials Developed

  • Four-page workshop agenda
  • Large-format thematic IEC panels
  • Participant and product cards
  • Bag and event-branding artwork
  • Print-ready production files across multiple formats

Designed as One Visual System

Rather than treating every item as an isolated design, Gateway Graphics established shared typography, colour, agricultural imagery and information hierarchy. The agenda guided participants through the programme, the panels supported learning and discussion within the venue, and the participant materials extended the workshop identity into practical objects.

Production-aware Communication

Event communication succeeds only when designs remain clear after printing, enlargement and installation. Files were therefore developed with their final size and use in mind. This reduced inconsistency between formats and helped the workshop environment feel organised and purposeful.

Communication Value

The final system translated a complex development-sector theme into accessible, connected communication. It demonstrates Gateway Graphics’ ability to coordinate content structure, visual design and production requirements across both small and large IEC formats.
